Discover the Revolution of Permanent Makeup

Discover the Revolution of Permanent Makeup:

Save Time and Look Radiant Every Day

Permanent Makeup involves pigmenting the first layer of the dermis, similar to a tattoo.

The process for any treatment includes a consultation to analyze the skin type, shape of brows, and colors before performing the procedure. If any discomfort arises during the treatment, local anesthesia is applied to numb the area to be pygmented. However, as with any tattoo, inflammation and color changes may occur, which is completely normal.

There are several areas of the face where this technique is commonly applied. The eyes and lips are the most sought-after areas, offering results that many people find difficult to achieve with conventional makeup. Permanent eyeliner is frequently requested the most for enhancements. It involves applying color along the upper lash line to create a perfect line, eliminating the need to repeatedly apply eyeliner every day.

Among the various techniques, one of the most popular is Hair-Stroke Eyebrow Micropigmentation or Microblading. This technique is ideal for those who have lost eyebrow hair, suffer from alopecia, or desire an aesthetic change to give more symmetry and definition to their look.

For those with oilier skin, the Powder Brows technique is the most recommended. “The contour is designed on the face to perfectly match its natural shape, always respecting the natural eyebrow form. Once the client feels comfortable with the final design, the area is shaded with the Powder Brows technique, filling in and correcting irregularities.”

Lips Permanent Makeup helps define and add color, as well as reduce uneven tone in cases of high pigmentation or give volume to thinner lips. “The procedure is virtually painless, and post-care simply involves maintaining good hygiene and protecting the area from the sun.”

Seasonal changes can wreak havoc on our skin, leaving it dull, dry, or dehydrated.

With the arrival of spring, it is crucial to adapt our facial skincare routine to combat the effects of seasonal changes. Use a nourishing moisturizer that suits your skin’s specific needs, and always apply sunscreen, even on cloudy days. If your skin feels very dry, apply a mask to give it a more intense hydration boost.

For more radiant skin, there’s a treatment that complements your beauty routine called microneedling. You may have heard about this treatment, and we want to tell you more about this revolutionary and innovative procedure.

What is facial microneedling?

This treatment helps reduce wrinkles, acne scars, enlarged pores, and hyperpigmentation, improving the texture and firmness of the skin. It also increases the absorption of skincare products. It is a safe, comfortable, and effective procedure that provides visible, long-lasting results.

Treatment:

  • The skin is cleaned and disinfected and divided into working zones.

  • It is performed with a specific device similar to a pen with a head that has nano-needles.

  • These nano-needles make micro-incisions to introduce the active ingredients of the treatment.

Microneedling

Microneedling

Microneedling is a non-invasive cosmetic technique that has gained popularity for its numerous skin benefits. This procedure involves the use of a device with small sterile needles to create micro-perforations in the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the natural production of collagen and elastin, essential for maintaining firm and elastic skin.

Benefits:

Anti-aging, Collagen and Elastin Stimulation: Micro-perforations induce the production of collagen and elastin, improving the firmness and elasticity of the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Scar Reduction and Acne: Microneedling can smooth the appearance of acne scars and other imperfections by promoting cell regeneration and collagen production.

Improves Skin Texture: By encouraging cell renewal, microneedling improves skin texture, making it smoother and more even.

Reduction of Enlarged Pores: This treatment can minimize the appearance of enlarged pores by stimulating collagen production and improving skin firmness.

Treatment of Hyperpigmentation: Microneedling can reduce the appearance of dark spots and uneven pigmentation by promoting cell renewal and skin regeneration.

Enhances Absorption of Skincare Products: Micro-perforations increase skin permeability, facilitating the absorption of serums, creams, and other skincare products, maximizing their benefits.

Safe and Comfortable Procedure: It is a safe and relatively comfortable treatment that does not require significant recovery time, making it a popular option for improving skin appearance without surgery or prolonged downtime.

If you're looking to rejuvenate and revitalize your skin, microneedling may be the solution you're looking for.

Procedure Steps:

1.

Prepare the skin on the face with a deep cleansing using scrub, foam, and cleansing milk.

2.

Apply a toner followed by a mask containing acids (salicylic, retinol, glycolic, and niacinamide) to help offset the peeling effect of this treatment.

3.

Once the mask is applied, leave it on for 10 minutes, then remove it.

4.

With the skin prepared, use the PhiAcademy APP, which with a few questions and a photo of the skin condition, will provide a recipe composed of 3 stem cell serums that correspond to the needs of each skin type.

5.

This recipe will be applied to the skin using the Microneedling dermograph and a cartridge of nano-needles that are non-invasive but cause micro-damage to insert the product and create the lifting effect. The step with the machine lasts for 40 minutes.

6.

Once all areas have been treated, leave the stem cell serums on the skin and only proceed to apply a mask for 10 to 15 minutes, which has a soothing effect to seal the procedure. Give a gentle massage and voila!

For an effective result from this treatment, it should be performed once a week for a month, and then twice a month until achieving the desired result of 100%.

Touch-Up Permanent Makeup

Touch-Up Permanent Makeup

In most cases, though not always, a touch-up is required after the initial 45 days following the first application. The necessity of this touch-up depends largely on how the skin is healing during this period, typically ranging between 70% to 80% of instances.

Various factors influence the reaction of permanent makeup pigments with different skin types. While the aftercare regimen plays a significant role in determining the final results, other elements such as the work environment, hormonal fluctuations, and lifestyle choices also contribute.

It is imperative to conduct a second check-up to monitor the progress of each client and ensure the desired outcomes are achieved by the end of the entire procedure.

The duration as we mentioned before of micropigmentation may vary depending on:

1.

Post-care: It is the most important factor as the healing process will greatly affect the result and its duration

2.

Patient’s skin: Each skin is different, within 45 days after the treatment, it is necessary to observe how the pigment has adhered to the skin.

Lips Permanent Makeup

Lips Permanent Make-Up

It is known as lip tattoo or lip blush, is a semi-permanent makeup technique that involves depositing pigment into the lips to enhance their color and shape. It is a popular cosmetic procedure that can help create fuller, more defined, and symmetrical lips.

The process of lip micropigmentation typically involves a consultation to discuss the desired shape and color of the lips, followed by the actual procedure. During the procedure, a small handheld Tattoo machine is used to deposit pigment into the lips in a pattern that mimics the natural look of lip color.

The pigment is deposited into the upper layers of the skin, but not as deep as a traditional tattoo, which allows for the color to fade over time. The depth of the pigment can be adjusted to achieve the desired level of color intensity.

The procedure typically takes about 2-3 hours, and there may be some mild discomfort during the process. A topical numbing cream can be applied to help minimize any pain.

After the procedure, there may be some swelling and tenderness of the lips, but this usually subsides within a few days. The color of the lips will appear more intense immediately after the procedure but will gradually fade over the following weeks.

It’s important to follow the aftercare instructions provided by the technician to ensure proper healing and color retention. Touch-up appointments may be required to maintain the desired color and shape of the lips. The results of lip micropigmentation typically last for about 1-3 years, depending on factors such as the depth of the pigment, the client’s skin type, and the level of sun exposure.

Eyeliner Permanent Makeup

Eyeliner micropigmentation, also known as eyeliner tattoo or permanent eyeliner, is a cosmetic procedure that involves depositing pigment along the lash line to enhance the appearance of the eyes.

The process of eyeliner micropigmentation typically involves a consultation to discuss the desired style and thickness of the eyeliner. During the procedure, a small handheld Tattoo machine is used to deposit pigment along the upper and/or lower or between the lashes line.

Microblading Technique

Microblading Technique

Their goal is to correct or reconstruct an eyebrow lacking hair by making artistic hair strokes, creating a hyperrealistic and natural effect, it’s made with a tool called tebori that has a series of very small and sharp needles at the top. Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique used to enhance the appearance of eyebrows.

The process begins with a consultation in which the desired style and shape of the eyebrows are discussed. Then, the skin around the eyebrows is cleaned and prepared and designed, after this we dont use anesthetic cream at the first pass, this is applied after that to minimize any discomfort during the procedure.

During the microblading process, the technician uses the Tebori to draw very fine and precise strokes on the skin, re-creating the appearance of natural eyebrow hair. The strokes are made in the superficial layer of the skin, called the epidermis, and a special cosmetic-grade pigment is used to create the color.

The process can last from 2 to 3 hours, depending on the complexity of the design and the skill of the technician. After the session, a special cream is applied to help heal the skin.

It is normal for the eyebrows to look a little darker than desired after the procedure, but after 45 days, the color will fade and adjust to the desired intensity.

It is important to follow the post-microblading care instructions, such as avoiding getting the eyebrows wet and applying a healing cream regularly to ensure proper healing. And touch-up appointments may be required to maintain the desired look.

Powderbrows Technique

Powderbrows Technique

This technique is sometimes also referred to as ombre brows or shaded brows.

The process involves using a small machine called Dermopgraph or a Tattoo machine, that deposits tiny dots of pigment into the skin, creating a gradient effect from light to dark. The dots are made in a pattern that mimics a soft makeup.

The powder brows technique is particularly well-suited for clients who have sparse or fully hair eyebrows althoug is well used in all kinds of shapes, or who want to achieve a more defined and filled-in look without the use of traditional makeup products.

It can also be a good option for clients who have oily skin, as the powdered effect tends to hold up better than other techniques.

The process of getting powder brows usually involves a consultation to determine the desired shape and color of the eyebrows, followed by the actual procedure, which typically takes around 2-3 hours. There may be some mild discomfort during the procedure, but a topical anesthetic cream can be applied to minimize any pain. After the procedure, there is usually a period of healing and some minor flaking and scabbing may occur. The final result of the powder brows should be visible within about 4 weeks, and touch-up appointments may be required to maintain the desired look.
